A bill that would limit the number of Oklahomans who can sign an initiative petition to get a question on the ballot is headed back to the State Senate with some changes from the House.

Voters will decide a state question in November that allows for public infrastructure tax districts in Oklahoma. Those districts would essentially be able to issue bonds to pay for different projects if they pass a vote; lawmakers are split on whether the districts are a good thing.

A bill moving through the state legislature would allow more teachers to legally carry firearms at school. Under the new bill, a teacher would only be required to have a valid concealed handgun license.
